La Terra e il Fuoco

The purpose of this Course is to introduce the students to a research through a practical experience with clay. An inner voyage which begins from the contact of one's hands with the earth. Modelling clay and creating a shape, means let our body to speak through our hands evoking unknown and maybe never shown up emotions and feelings. The artistic expression is helped by the contact with a malleable and versatile material such as clay. While we Learn the basic working technics we can build up some simple and beautiful objects such as bouls, pots and boxes. Clay is a generous material with which one can create several forms and obtain great satisfaction in return. Modelling clay needs patience, engagement, good will, steadfastness, perseverance, organization, time and love. During the basic workshop we will come to know clay and its secrets, and will create some easy manufacts together.
